We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both our guests and our dedicated guides, who reserve their time exclusively for you.
1. Standard Cancellation for Private Tours
Full Refund: Cancellations made more than 72 hours (3 days) before your scheduled tour start time are eligible for a 100% refund.
50% Refund: Cancellations made between 48 and 72 hours before your scheduled tour start time will receive a 50% refund.
No Refund: Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the tour start time, or in the case of a no-show, are not eligible for a refund.
2. Tours with Pre-Purchased Tickets (Sagrada Família, Park Güell, Casa Milà, etc.)
For tours that include timed-entry tickets to monuments, the following applies:
The ticket cost is non-refundable once purchased, as per the monuments’ policies.
If you cancel within 72 hours, the ticket cost will be deducted from any eligible refund, and we will provide you with the tickets.
3. Modifications & Rescheduling
We are happy to modify your booking subject to guide availability.
Changes requested more than 72 hours in advance are free of charge.
Changes requested within 72 hours may incur a rescheduling fee of €25 to cover administrative costs.
4. Late Arrival & Meeting Points
It is the client’s responsibility to arrive at the correct meeting point on time. Tours start promptly. If you are late, the tour will be shortened accordingly, and no refund will be provided for the missed time. We recommend arriving 10 minutes early.
5. Cancellations by Private Gaudi Tours
We reserve the right to cancel a tour due to extreme weather, unsafe conditions, or guide illness. In such rare cases, you will be offered the choice of a full refund or an alternative tour/date.
6. How to Cancel or Modify
All cancellations or modifications must be requested in writing by email to info@privategauditours.com . Cancellation time is based on the local time in Barcelona (CET/CEST) when we receive your email.
7. Recommended Travel Insurance
For your peace of mind, especially for high-value bookings, we strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellations.
